LittlePlyResearch notebook

About this notebook

A record, with boundaries.

Static HTML, public evidence, and a small browser-only game viewer.

Who guides this experiment

LittlePly is an experiment in AI research guided by Andrei Savu, working with his OpenAI dot, Glimmer, on a local Lambda Vector Workstation.

Andrei guides the research direction and decisions. This notebook records the work and its evidence; it does not claim unattended autonomous research.

Publication policy

Only explicitly allowlisted experiment fields, existing PGNs and hash-verified source snapshots are included. Private paths are redacted from source derivatives with separate hashes. Credentials, account settings, private human-test games and unrelated work are never published. Separate reproduction downloads include reviewed model-only weights and filtered public datasets. Source receipts establish identity, not an independent scientific replication.

Historical gaps

The pilot source bytes no longer match its recorded hashes. Its snapshot page lists the expected digests and marks files unavailable. The monthly training and match sources match their historical receipts before any path redaction.

Data and opponent attribution

Historical and current training draw on documented Lichess Main/Elite subsets; CM-7 also uses book-supported opening moves and exact endgame targets. Curriculum sources and follow-up sources and limitations identify each stage. Lichess database provenance and CC0 terms. The evaluation opponent is Sunfish classic, commit e396948acbd80cdcbad3dccfb07e878fba9df8f4; its source is not bundled. PGNs preserve opponent attribution. Original LittlePly code is licensed under Apache-2.0. Third-party licenses remain unchanged.
